Roslyn
Roslyn is a year-round Episcopal conference and retreat center in Richmond. Each year, Roslyn welcomes churches, organizations and individuals to their 150 scenic acres for events, workshops and quiet retreats. Bequeathed to the Diocese in 1934 by Miss Annie Rose Walker, today Roslyn is a center for educational exploration and spiritual life in an environment that invites reflection and inquiry. Shrine Mont
Shrine Mont is a conference center of the Diocese that is also home to the Cathedral Shrine of the Transfiguration, the open-air cathedral of the Diocese of Virginia. Open from early April through early November, Shrine Mont hosts church retreats; nine diocesan camps for youth and families; meetings and conferences for religious and secular groups; family reunions; and even high school band groups. Shrine Mont also has a summer guest season for families. Annual events at Shrine Mont include the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival; the Bishop's Jubilee weekend with music and fun for all; and the Family Camp.
